Time freed up——

Difference in estimated revenue—

Difference in estimated amount you keep—Amount you keep = monthly revenue − staff wages. A simple estimate that excludes other expenses.

* Owner's treatment revenue = (treatment hours ÷ hours per session, rounded down to whole sessions) × price per client. Staff treatment revenue = number of staff × monthly revenue per staff member. Courses & school = fee × number of students.
* Staff wages = staff treatment revenue × wage ratio. The amount you keep is a simple “revenue − staff wages” estimate and excludes other expenses such as rent, supplies, product purchasing, advertising and taxes.
* Time freed up is converted into days at 8 hours per day.

* These are example calculations only and do not guarantee actual results or sales. All figures are assumptions. Results vary depending on each salon’s situation and efforts.
